How long does an RV roof repair take?
A leak or seam reseal is usually a same-day or next-day job once the RV is in the shop. A full roof replacement generally runs one to two weeks, depending on how much of the decking underneath needs to be replaced and how quickly materials arrive. We give you a written estimate and a time frame before any work starts.
What types of RV roofs do you repair?
Rubber membrane roofs (EPDM and TPO), fiberglass roofs, and aluminum roofs. We also repair the roof decking, seams, vent and skylight flashing, and A/C unit gaskets that sit on top of the roof.
What are the signs of RV roof damage?
Water stains or soft spots on the ceiling, a musty smell, bubbling or delaminating wallboard, cracked or chalky sealant around vents and edges, a membrane that looks wrinkled or has bare spots, and daylight visible around roof fixtures. If you see any of these, get the roof inspected before the next heavy rain.
Will my insurance cover RV roof repair?
Often, yes, when the damage comes from a sudden event such as a fallen limb, hail, wind, or an impact. Gradual wear and neglected sealant are usually not covered. Open the claim with your insurer first, then bring the RV in. We document the damage, write the estimate, and communicate directly with your adjuster.
How often should an RV roof be inspected?
At least twice a year, and after any storm or low-clearance incident. Sealant around vents, skylights, and the roof edges is what fails first, and catching it early is the difference between a quick reseal and a water-damage repair.
Do you work on roofs for RVs you did not sell?
Yes. We service all makes and models regardless of where you bought the RV. The shop is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
